My name is Asrar, I am 10 years old and my names
means secrets in Arabic. Secrets are what fill my mouth but never reach my
lips. This time, they are going to reach paper. I have a brother named Altaf
who is 19, a mother, father, and a baby sister named Raja. Her name means hope.
Today I watched as citizens who were protesting the capture and tortures of 15
schoolchildren were shot and killed http://www.britannica.com/event/Syrian-Civil-War. All they wanted was freedom, and instead we
